GRILL ON THE HILL
Beat the Heat this Saturday August 29th beginning @ noon at Brian Head Resort for Grill on the Hill with 92.3 The KOMP and 97.1.

Well its almost here! Lee Canyon will be opening the beginners slope ( the “Bunny Hill”) on Friday November 28th for weekends until further notice. They have been blowing snow in prepartion for the actual opening. Come out for the festivities this weekend. Check back for when all the slopes open to everyone or check out skilasvegas.com!

Snow Jam is coming to Las Vegas this weekend at Cashman Center. You can pick up your tickets at SnowJamShow.com and they are redemable for a lift ticket at Brian Head Ski resort. So go check it out and get your lift tickets. Who knows maybe well see you there.

Yes you read right .. Today, November 3rd, Mammoth officially announces there grand opening.. Check it out at www.mammothmountain.com. Broadway Express will begin running at 9 a.m. With a base of 6-12 inches of natural and manmade snow and 1″ of new snow today. They are once again the first mountain to open in California. This recent storm left more snow at higher elevations and they anticipate opening more terrain later in the week.

Special early season ticket prices are:
$52 for adults
$39 for teens
$26 for children and seniors
Main Lodge ticket windows will be open at 8:30 a.m. this morning and lifts are scheduled to run until 4 p.m.
All other services will be open in the Main Lodge including Broadway Marketplace, and Rental and Repair shops.
Please remember that obstacles do exist so always ride with caution.
It’s Official!
Mammoth Mountain’s Opening Day celebration is going to be Nov 13th, kicking off at 7:30am. There will be hot chocolate, muffins, and pastries for everyone waiting in line. Also, Wolly Mammoth is to make an appearance to break through the banner at the first lift opening at 8:30am. The annual Champagne toast is going to be at 11:00am on the sundeck with live music from “Annual James” at 11:30am.
Red bull will be continuing the Opening Day Celebrations with a live performance by DJ Lamont starting at 4:30pm. They will also be showing Travis Rice’s latest film, “That’s It, That’s All” on the big screen! There will be food and beer for everyone to enjoy! Don’t miss out!

HOT DAWGZ & HAND RAILS #5 So Cal’s most exciting summer snowboard contest, Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails returns to Bear Mountain on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Now in its 5th year, this pre-winter snowboarding event will offer up $15,000 in prize money for competitors. There will be three movie premieres, autograph sessions with the pros, product giveaways and much more! Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails is free and open to the public; however the snowboarding competition part of this event is for invited snowboarders only. The event will feature a unique setup that will test the skills of some of the best jumpers and jibbers in the world. Join us for the premiere of Mack Dawg Productions new film “Double Decade”, Mack Dawg People’s “Down with the People”, as well as Bear Mountain’s latest offering, “A Walk in the Park”! There will be a sponsor booth city, product giveaways, live DJ’s, BBQ’s, the Beach Bar, tons of snow and some of the top ranked snowboarders in the world. We will also be hosting a benefit for Boarding for Breast Cancer. |
